I miss you Ben. I know you are in a better place - at home with the Lord. I miss your kindness, gentleness, and, especially, your loving spirit. Things just aren't the same without you here with us :(

I will be happy when we are together again.

I love you,
Aunt Anna

I will like to say he is a strong man. His family is strong as well. I have a paralyzed husband and I love him no matter what, I don't need him to move or run for me because I loved him when he could move and I love him still. I want to say God bless Ben. May he rest in peace and now he's in a better place where he doesn't have to worry about anything because he is with God. My best wishes goes out to his family and you are not alone on this, I now what it's like too.

Although I did not know Benjamin, his web page made me smile. It was very touching, and I'm sure it has and will continue to touch many others. I enjoyed the writings, and I wish there were more people out there like he seems to have been.

Sincerely,
Jodi

My name is Steve Younis. I run and own the SupermanHomepage.com website which Ben frequented. He was my friend.

I am shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. He will be greatly missed.

As "KryptonKid" Ben and I would chat often via my website. He was a regular in our weekly Chat Hour. Ben had been a part of the "regulars" back in the days when the site was less popular. Many times it would be just he, I and one or two others in the chat room.

He helped me out on many occasions. I'd email him to ask for his help and include him in on emails about the world of Superman with inside information, knowing that I could trust him with the as-yet unreleased details about an up-coming event.

It was because of Ben that fans know that there is a wireframe Superman ornament at the UC Davis Medical Center. He took photos of it for the website.

I can't believe he's gone... We'll miss you KK.

Like all of his many friends I am grieved to hear of his passing. I had been privliged to know him for many years as He and I were 2 of the founding members of the superman group 1 site. Ben was always a bright ray of sun on a cloudy day with his cheerfull outlook. He is missed and the world is poorer for his passing but tho we mourn his loss with his family we were richer for knowing him. Good Journey buddy and have fun flying arround heaven with Chris Reeve till we meet again

It was with a heavy heart that I learned of Ben's passing. I greatly wanted to personally be at his funeral, but was in Dublin for a Duchenne Seminar for client families until late that same evening. I know that there is little I can say to lessen the grief of the entire Grose Family, other than to hope that the love and laughter of his memories comfort and sustain them through their sorrow. I personally believe he is with his Creator, free of the confinement that his body gave him in this world. Ben was a very special young man, and will be greatly missed by all his light touched.

On behalf of all the staff at the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Sacramento, I would just like to say how privileged we are to forever have Ben as a part of our MDA family.

Warm Regards,

Adriana Venegas
Health Care Service Coordinator
MDA Sacramento

To the friends of Ben, I want to say thank you. You helped make him strong.
Each one of you that struggle with this disease is such an inspiration to me. I know the challenges you face each day and that you really are life's true superheros.
And to Jeremy, yes Ben's spirit was strong but don't ever forget that you gave him a lot of that strength. You were his dearest friend.
Charles, you were a great friend to Ben and he talked about you often. He too enjoyed talking and laughing about the good old days of MDA summer camp.
True strength is not shown in one's physical ability but rather shown in a one's personal character. Ben was the strongest man I've ever known. I will always miss him and I will forever strive to be as strong as he.
To all Ben's friends, Thank you.
His loving sister,
HollySue
